So, I got home from school and quickly logged onto my laptop, eager to chat to my friends and play some games. I answered my DeviantART messages, then clicked the tiny "Warriors: Untold Tales" icon on my desktop. I had recently found the game and was pleased to be able to play an actual Warriors game. I created a character, and called it T. It was going to be called Tee. I skipped the intro as I was sure I could do it myself, and started playing as Tee. I hunted and built up my reputation, buying all the items in the bonus-coin shop. I got Tee a mate, and she was soon very popular in her Clan. Wondering what I should do now, I restarted the game. A message came up on the screen. "Are you sure you want to delete Tee?" That was weird. Maybe it was just part of the game. I brushed it aside and created a new character, Calling it Rhylie. I loved that name! I made Rhylie a rouge, and gathered a lot of moss, thistles and prey to start a Clan. I got a lot of members in my Clan, mostly males, and I always took them out for battles and to gather things from the Carrionplace. I was falling in love with this game fast.
---A couple of years later---
I'd just got home from school, and I was bored as a ... Bored thing. I logged onto my laptop and decided to look at my old files. Checking through them, I notcied an old Warrior Cats game. It brought back fond memories, so I clicked on it and waited for the little cat-head icons to load up. The box of pixels seemed a bit dark. Was that a hint of red I saw on the grass? Weird. It must just be my imagination. The game loaded, and I saw the screen which asked you wether you wanted to make a new game, or load one. I clicked Load, and file one. The game went black, and a small message appeared for one second then went away. This was getting weirder and weirder. The game logged on. My character's name was Rhylie... Awww, how cute. My old favourite name. I searched the other parts of the map, finding my old camp.
I could've sworn on my life I had more than two members.
Two cats were sitting on either side of the den entrance, like guards. I strolled over to the entrance and went to walk in. I couldn't get in, as if there were immobile blocks there. "Bollocks." I said without realizing. Pressing Ctrl near the cats, a message box appeared.
I NEED WAER.
YOU KILLED T
I talked to the other cat.
YOU OOK IT ALL
YOU KILLED T
Wait... Waer? Thirsty? And who is this T person I have supposedly killed? Bejesus, this is just getting weirder and weirder. If this cat was thirsty, he must need water. Oh well. I walked on through the maps and caught some prey. I rejoined ThunderClan, and decided to raise my reputation. Though, whenever I talked to any cats in the clan, they said "..." and turned away from my cat. When I walked past a male cat, his name changed to HURT and he used the clawing animation on me. A message came up:
YOU KILLED T!
NO ONE LIKES YOU
YOU HAEFUL IDIO
The message ended with a loud roar, and I was transported to the moonstone area. I walked up, wanting to talk to StarClan. "Your wounds drag you deep..." that eerie message played, and I tried talking to the big rock. "SarClan despises you." By this time I was feeling pretty sick. I talked to them more times, and these messages appeared.
"SarClan loved T"
"SarClan has never liked you"
"SarClan made a misake in leing you live"
"SarClan HAES ANNA"
The last message startled me the most.
How did this game know my name?
I tried escaping, and after all failed I decided I could at least try hunting. Upon pressing shift, I was sent to a dungeonlike area. I suddenly realised something. All the messages that had been shown had been missing their t's. Like StarClan was SarClan. All the t's gone. I sighed, exploring this dungeon. I found some cats along the way, and talked to them. One cat was called MISPLACED and his message was:
I's okay. I am a murderer jus like you.
Here ha, ANNA? You are a murderer.
Don't you see?
You killed her.
As the message played, I was starting to cry. "I'm not a murderer! I'd never kill anyone so many people loved!" I found myself screaming at the screen, tears trickling down my face. I tried hunting. I spotted a strange flakey thing on the floor, and crept up to it, attacking it to 'kill' it.
Oh my God.
The item was called 'Flesh of T,' and it gave you the option of dropping it, eating it or... Wearing it. Out of pure curiousity I clicked "Wear." A piece of black fur appeared on my Rhylie's tail. A box came up, seemingly from MY cat this time.
I don' wan his...
Suddenly, Rhylie started to walk up a passage I had not seen before. It lead to a black end. She walked out of it into the blackness, and she got transported to a place full of bloodied grass and bodies. I was free to control now, so I walked forwards. A black cat was standing by a canopy of trees, covered in blood. I pressed CTRL.
"Hello there, old friend."
I stared at the message, wondering what it meant.
"I am Tee.
I suddenly realized who this cat was. My beloved Tee. My first character in this game. I had done everything with her, she was my baby. Why was she so angry?
"Now you'll be left on your own, and be replaced by someone else better than you. You will know how I feel. How i've felt all this time. We always used to go hunting, go on patrols. You got bored of me. Bored. Of me."
The black cat walked into the trees, turning to face my cat.
"Now you will feel what it's like. Forever,"
Tee dropped some moss, usually gatherable from the trees.
"I stole the WAER."
Quite abruptly, I heard a noise from the stairs. The door was being unlocked, and a voice just like mine rang out.
"Mum, I'm home."
Just like my voice.
I had been replaced, just like Tee promised.
